- The Iterative Method devises a strength of
schedule for each team based on 3 statistics for games played: point
margin, home/away, and date played. Using the strength of schedule, a
ranking is constructed. Replacing the strength of schedule with the new
ranking, the process is repeated until a stable ranking is found.
Updated Methodology!
- The Graph Theory Method is similar to the
Iterative Method approach, but using graph theory methods hypothetical
games are considered between all teams and are used in the construction
of the strength of schedule. The process, as before, is then iterated
until a stable ranking can be found.
