Topics include computer arithmetic, Boolean algebra and gate networks, logic design, an introduction to IA-32/64 & MIPS assembly language programming, memory (virtual and cache), I/O devices, pipelined instruction execution, bus structures, microprogramming and RISC/CISC philosophies.
