Intro to PowerPoint

My guess is that most of you have experience with PowerPoint in some capacity. For this lab, I want you to refer to the Word document I have given you, that describes how to use PowerPoint. With this document, I would like you to create a PowerPoint presentation of your favorite band.

Your presentation is to include:

1. A title slide containing the title of your presentation, and your name.
2. A slide that introduces your band using both text and a clip art picture from the Clip Art Gallery.
3. A slide that contains a picture of the band and/or members of the band found from the Web.
4. A slide that includes a chart showing CD sales, or if you can't find details of sales, then use some other statistical data related to the band.
5. Through out the presentation, use some background scheme other than black text on a white background. Make the color scheme consistent throughout all slides. In other words, don't use a different scheme for each slide.
6. Give your slides some kind of animation and transition effects.
7. Use the slide master to add some consistant footer data to your presentation, such as the title and/or the date.

When you are finished with your presentation, place the file called your 14BandPUNetID.ppt in the CS130 Drop Folder.
