Pass1 Design

You are to design pass1 of the assembler based on the class specification. Your design is to include every function that will be used in pass 1, the parameters that will be passed in and out of each function, a high level pseudo-code algorithm of each function, and a table of contents. Further, this design is to be typed and stapled in the upper left corner.

Also, include a timeline which consists of your weekly plans to get this design implemented and a final due date of when you will have pass 1 done. You need to leave yourself PLENTY of time for the pass2 design and implementation.

Grading of your design will be based on:

• Completeness (5 pts) - Is every function and data structure for pass 1 present?
• Correctness (7 pts) - Is every function of your design correct?
• Modularity (5 pts) - Does your design consist of modular (< 1.5 page when coded) functions?
• Level (5 pts) - Is your design easily codeable from a readable high level "pseudo-code"?
• Presentation (3 pts) - Is your design complete and neat?
